The one thing...

The one thing I'd give advice on to people going thru a remodel or new construction process is being flexibe. S#!t happens. No matter how much you plan or budget out or line up in a spreadsheet, etc., it can all change on a moments notice. A sense of humor helps but ultimately you have to be ready to change course, make alterations and do it all in the spirit of the design and the intent. If you have good people around you (a solid team) and are grounded in backing the vision than everything works out. Allow some mental time for happy accidents and continue to evolve. Ok, officially off the soap box.
